Meet the Sooners Day

Football season is fast approaching, so if you’re ready to get to know the Sooner football team a little better mark this date on your calendar. The annual Meet the Sooners Day will be August 3, 2007. The event is a great chance for Sooner fans to learn more about their football team before the season begins.
Meet the Sooners Day will be held at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Sooner fans can get players’ autographs and take part in a fun-filled day of other activities. The annual event draws thousands to Norman each year. It’s a great time for fans to come together to support their Oklahoma Sooners and talk about the upcoming season.
Meet the Sooners Day is open to the public, and there is no admission cost to attend the all day event. An official schedule has yet to be released of the day. The autograph signings by Sooner football players and coaches will begin at 10am.
No time has been given yet for when gates will open. Those who have children who are members of the Sooner Kids’ Club will be moved to the beginning of the line. Anyone from kindergarten to 8th grade can join the kids club. Annual membership is $30.
